My personal experiences with shamanic states of consciousness began in 1981. Over the decades, I’ve been blessed to travel and sit in sacred circle with Huichol, Peruvian, Mazatec, Native American, Irish Druid, Dagara, and Aboriginal Australian elders.

Much of my specific training as a shamanic practitioner has been with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. I was taught soul retrieval by Sandra Ingerman. Currently, I’m enrolled in the Foundation’s Three Year Program in Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing.

I was in corporate communications for 30 years, as well, and had my own company for 18 years. As a result, I’m very familiar and comfortable with the world of “ordinary reality,” too.

I received a Doctor of Ministry in Wisdom Studies from Wisdom University and am also an ordained minister. I have a Certificate in Storytelling from Dominican University, and a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Macalester College.
